Welcome to the Freedom Coach
The local Freedom Coach offers affordable transport in our area including access to shops here every Friday.
Passengers can be picked up from their own home and taken to their choice of shops before being picked up again and helped with their shopping bags or trolleys.
People using this service say it helps them remain as independent as possible.
The coach has a rear lift meaning wheelchair users or those with mobility issues can be helped on board as well.
There are also a number of outings organised over the summer to visit places such as Bankfoot, Abernyte, St Andrews, Broughty Ferry, Brechin Castle Centre and Pitlochry.
Fundraising has been carried out and grants have also been applied for by Blairgowrie and District Seniors Outings which allows us to offer outings at a very reduced rate.
